A2 POD is the North Carolina AHEC
Academy for Professional
and Organizational Development.
Why
A2 POD?
A2 POD is a direct result of the most recent strategic planning process
for the AHEC Program. Professional development for AHEC personnel is a
common theme that cuts across the strategic and operational plans of each
core service area in the AHEC system.
How
was A2
POD Developed?
A
planning team consisting of the AHEC Administrative Group and the Leadership
and Management Education Taskforce is developing A2 POD. Each
regional AHEC has a member on the planning team.
What
is the goal of A2 POD?
As
a centralized approach to professional development, the goal of A2 POD is to position AHEC to recruit highly qualified individuals and
retain them through a strong professional and organizational development
program.
Who
is the audience for A2 POD?
A2 POD’s audience is all NC AHEC personnel across all core service areas.
