Family Medicine Faculty Position

The Duke/ Southern Regional AHEC Family Medicine Residency in Fayetteville, NC is seeking an applicant for a Family Physician faculty position. Our unopposed dually accredited residency is well supported by our hospital and our community.  Our dynamic faculty members take pride in teaching and patient care.  We practice obstetrics and manage patients in the intensive care setting. Candidates should have at least 2 years of post residency clinical experience with some teaching experience preferred.  Competitive salary, excellent fringe benefits, and consideration for a clinical appointment at Duke University Medical Center and faculty development fellowship.  EOE. 

Director of Nursing Continuing Education

Southern Regional AHEC is recruiting for a full-time Director of Nursing Continuing Education.  This position is responsible for planning and implementing continuing education for nurses in a 9-county region.  Masters degree in nursing, education, or related field preferred; Bachelors Degree in Nursing required.  Three to five years of active nursing practice with three years experience desired in nursing education and distance education, and current North Carolina nursing license.  Some in-state travel.  Competitive salary and excellent benefit package. Physician Assistant
Family Nurse Practitioner

The Southern Regional AHEC is recruiting a PA-C or FNP to provide comprehensive outpatient health care to pediatric, adolescent and adult patients in the SR AHEC Family Medicine Center and some inpatient care.  Requirements:  graduation from an accredited program and current license to practice in NC.  Three years experience preferred.  Excellent benefit package and competitive salary.  M-F daytime hours only with no call.

 Clinical Information Manager

Full-time Information Technology position in an educational setting.  Masters degree in one of the following or related fields: Library Science, Computer Science, or Education with three years experience.  Supervisory position responsible for managing, planning and supporting the informatics and technology needs of a Family Medicine Residency Program and the Family Medicine Center.  Requires excellent organizational and customer-relations skills, and must be team-oriented.  Applicant must have a good knowledge of electronic health records systems, SQL and Crystal Reports, Microsoft computer programs, PCs, and PDAs.  Competitive salary and excellent benefits package.  EOE. 

Mental Health Project Coordinator/Director of Mental Health Continuing Education

Position planning/implementing/evaluating evidence-based mental health practices training programs. Bachelors degree required--Masters Degree in Counseling or related field with appropriate experience preferred.  Minimum of two years direct clinical mental health treatment experience is required.  Experience with Information Technology and Distance education preferred.  Experience with developing training/educational programs preferred. Computer expertise in word processing.  Other computer skills (such as Microsoft Access, Excel, statistical analysis software) are highly desirable. Strong interpersonal communication skills required. Candidate must be proficient at managing multiple projects.  Ability to collaborate with multiple individuals from varying backgrounds and geographic locations.  Frequent travel within the state required.  Competitive salary and excellent benefit package. Nursing Supervisor (RN)

Want the challenge and rewards of working for a family medicine residency program?  Southern Regional AHEC’s Family Medicine Clinic is seeking a full-time RN to perform administrative duties for clinic operations and provide direct patient care as needed.  The ideal candidate will have the appropriate credentials and 2-5 years experience supervising clinical staff in an ambulatory setting.  Southern Regional AHEC offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits to include a liberal continuing education allowance.  Hours are 8am – 5pm M-F, no nights or weekends.  EOE.
