FAHEF, Inc (SR-AHEC) is a registered charitable foundation and receives donations that will enhance its mission to increase the availability of healthcare workers in this region.

FAHEF, Inc. has some state assisted programs but is not state supported. State dollars currently provide about one-quarter of FAHEF’s funding needs and this percent is shrinking with many demands on state revenue. This means private gifts are important to FAHEF, Inc. The need for health care workers is greater than it has ever been and the shortages in critical provider professions such as primary care physicians, nursing, imaging technologists and pharmacists are expected to increase. Many programs that are successful in promoting health care professions as a career choice bring in no funds to support themselves. They are critical to the mission of FAHEF, Inc. and to our region but require outside funding to sustain them. Your gift to FAHEF, Inc. will help meet this critical need.

You can make a gift to FAHEF, Inc. in several ways.

• A bequest to FAHEF, Inc. in your will.

• A contribution to the endowment fund established in 2003 to promote health careers.

• A Gift of Remembrance to commemorate a person or an occasion such as a memorial for a family member or friend, honor someone for a special accomplishment or contribution, commemorate a birthday or anniversary, or recognize an act of kindness by someone. Gifts of Remembrance are used to expand and improve our regions’ access to much needed healthcare workers and for programs supporting those already serving in the region.

• Designate a gift to be used to support a specific program or activity as you direct.
