The Specialty Medicine Center at the Southern Regional AHEC is committed to providing you or your child specialized medical care in a
convenient, pleasant setting. Our specialists are here to assist you and your primary care physician by providing either onetime consultations or by following your particular medical problem and making recommendations to your doctor. We do not take the place of
your regular primary care doctor. Specialists at our facility are also teachers. At times, there may be doctors or students in training for one of the health professions working with your specialist. The specialist will always determine your care, but you may also be seen by one of the students. If you would prefer not to be seen by a student, please let
the nurse know.
