Application

1. Applications accepted only through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) to apply via the Internet (http://www.aamc.org/audienceeras.htm).
2. Applicants must have graduated from medical school within the last 2 years
3. Applicants must have passed the boards (step 1 and 2)
   

Interview

1. Contact Tawana  to schedule an interview (910-678-7259).
2. Interviews are conducted from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
3. Our program will provide housing and dinner the evening prior to the interview.  If you find these days are not possible for you, please feel free to inquire about alternatives.
4. Applicants interview with several faculty members, then lunch with residents. If you wish to schedule an appointment to speak with Dr. Maharty, please contact Michele Phipps at (910) 678-7260.
5. Dr. Donald Maharty will be among the faculty who interview osteopathic residents.
6. A tour of Cape Fear Valley Hospital is conducted and, if time permits, a tour of Fayetteville is offered.
