HEALTH CAREERS DAY ON THE HILL

Learn how to break into the healthcare fields

For North Carolina high school students interested in the health sciences, Health Careers Day on the Hill is their opportunity to discover how to break into the health care field.

The program is held on the UNC campus each spring. Presentations by representatives from UNC’s health professional schools (examples include UNC School of Medicine, UNC School of Dentistry, etc.) expose students to various health careers and UNC admissions officers provide valuable college preparation information.

What?
Health Careers Day on The Hill is an event that allows high school students to explore various health careers by hearing from a variety of health professionals.

When?
Saturday, April 27, 2019
9:45 a.m. – 5:45 p.m.

UNC Chapel Hill School of Medicine

Who?
High school students from across the state of NC

Why?
The objective is to peak their interest in various healthcare careers by providing breakout sessions and a resource fair component.
