Southern Regional Area Health Education Center (SR-AHEC) is proud to host two dynamic, statewide educational events designed to strengthen clinical excellence, elevate integrated care, and support the evolving needs of today’s healthcare and behavioral health workforce.

Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) Summit

The CoCM Summit is a premier learning experience for Behavioral Health Care Managers and interdisciplinary care teams committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

This event highlights the Collaborative Care Model, where Behavioral Health Care Managers work in close partnership with Primary Care Providers and Psychiatric Consultants to deliver coordinated, evidence-based interventions. Attendees will gain practical insights into care coordination strategies that support whole-person wellness, improve clinical outcomes, and align behavioral health treatment with patients’ medical needs.

Clinical Update & Psychopharmacology Review

The Clinical Update and Psychopharmacology Review offers an in-depth exploration of current therapeutic approaches and medical advancements in the treatment of mental illness, developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders.

Designed for healthcare and behavioral health professionals, this session enhances clinical decision-making and strengthens provider confidence in applying evidence-informed treatment strategies. Participants will leave better equipped to optimize treatment outcomes and meet the multifaceted health needs of the populations they serve.

Southern Regional AHEC staff will review all signed applications and develop an exhibit schedule that will be provided in advance

of the event. The signed application will hold your spot. The deadline for submission is March 31, 2026, but keep in mind that space is limited. Once approved, the application/agreement serves as a contract for the promotional activities, and payment must be submitted before the conference to participate.
