Your mental health is equally as important as your physical health, and signs of illness can manifest in ways that may not be immediately clear. Just taking an hour, every few months, to talk to a behavioral health professional can be extremely helpful in ways that talking to a friend or relative can’t be. The Family Medicine Center at Southern Regional AHEC offers comprehensive behavioral health services to SR-AHEC patients, in collaboration with their primary care physician. These services are available on-site for confidentiality and convenience.

• Brief consultation during a regular medical visit
