Dr. Bonney Wheelden is a doctoral-prepared, licensed Nurse Practitioner dually certified in family medicine and psychiatric medication management. She has practiced in a wide range of settings, including private practice, public health, military medicine, and residential educational facilities.

Originally from Maine, Dr. Wheelden now lives in the Fayetteville, North Carolina area and travels regularly to England, where her two daughters reside. She began her nursing career in Florida and earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of North Florida. In 2024, she completed her post-certification training as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner through the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Wheelden has been serving with the Southern Regional Area Health Education Center (SR-AHEC) since 2021.

Dr. Wheelden provides medication management for patients experiencing conditions such as:
